2018: Sept / Oct
September Adventures:
- Celebrating my 38th birthday with a low-key 3-day weekend including brunch at Haywire with my parents and home-cooked shrimp & grits by Matt
- Lots of Dr. appointments for Baby Hams plus my work shower, library team shower, and Matt's work team baby shower - lots of love coming her way!
- A nice dinner date with Kirk+Megan at Seasons 52, football-watching with the Motts, and girls night at Whiskey Cake with Megan and Jennifer, and a quick visit to McKinney Oktoberfest with the Motts - getting the fun in before the baby hiatus
October Adventures - Baby Month!
- Wrapped up work getting everything set for my 15 weeks off and did a lot of relaxing/eating out/watching movies while we waited for baby
- Baby CC joined the family on October 15th [Welcome ~ 3rd Trimester Recap] and the rest of the month was a time warp of learning the ropes, sleep deprivation, and lots of baby fun. We also welcomed lots of visitors, enjoyed too much great food dropped off by family and friends, and ventured out for 2 pediatrician visits and a post-op appointment for me.

- I started my 3rd term on the city Library Advisory Board, I'm also hoping the new library expansion gets finished on this round before I max out my term limit.
