Sept/Oct 2017
September Adventures-
Celebrating my birthday brunch-style, Ida Claire and shopping (love my new Pottery Barn dishware and Staub pan) with my parents, then Sunday brunch at Meddlesome Moth and exploring the Dallas Farmers Market with Matt
Mini-trip fun: Fort Worth Ladies Weekend for me and dove hunting with Andy+Paul in Graham for Matt
Enjoying one of our favorite weekends - McKinney Oktoberfest!
Plus, fun with friends, visiting the Frisco food truck park for the first time, enjoying a quick visit from Maggie, and general back-to-school busyness
October Adventures-
Football-watching with the Gages, and more football-watching at home and with friends for Matt
Fun with the Abbott crew-they came to town for State Fair again and stayed at our house and got to visit Snug, our favorite small breakfast place, this time too
Junior League projects have been amping up - I spent two Saturdays volunteering this month with an early morning shift at Kohl's for Clothe-a-Child in Frisco and serving 300 hotdogs (!) and judging a costume contest at the Habitat for Humanity Monster Mash in McKinney
Beginning my 2nd term on the city of McKinney Library Advisory Board
Plus, fun at the Cottonwood Art Festival, Adriatica Wine & Music Festival and date nights on the square (Savor macarons!), starting the new Junior League Book Club with Orphan Train, football + pumpkins with the Sielings + Motts, running the book fair at work, and lots of antiquing around DFW - October was a fun month!
