Fall in Review {2022}

Fall was fast and fun!

Work started up again and this year (while still hectic) has been so much easier than the last few. With a full leadership team at work and the new post-Covid normal underway my job feels achievable for the first time in a while. Matt had another great fall at Collin and C settled into her new school. We are loving the neat opportunities it brings, like watching band and cheer practice, visiting the school library, and the high school helpers that visit her class.

Other things to remember include---

Celebrating my birthday with a Labor Day weekend trip to Round Top with my sister

C stated dance and tumbling once a week at Lift with Avril next door. Dance dropped off after a month but tumbling time is going strong.

The neighbor ladies Bunco group started to meet monthly - I've won biggest loser once too!

Another Arkansas disc golf trip for Matt to visit Mike

A fun weekend getaway to Glen Rose/Dinosaur Valley

Celebrating our 17th anniversary

An extra-fun Junior League cashiering, our committee is especially social this time around - it's been a great way to spend what is most likely my last active year

Hosting Thanksgiving for the first time - Market Street sides + Matt's Traeger-smoked turkey was perfect for my parents, the Abbotts, and Betsy

More fun with friends - Avril's bounce house birthday, neighborhood chili cook-off, Octoberfest in downtown McKinney with some Collin friends, an extra visit with the Sielings after Megan's sweet gram passed away, hanging with neighbors, and enjoying time outside. I also started going to yoga again at a new place in Anna. Life is good. :)
