Holiday Happenings🌲2020 aka Covid Christmas
Covid tried to spoil our holidays but we still had a great winter break. CC had fun at daycare with a small class party and Matt painted the hallway bathroom to get us started. We also had a fun weekend with the Sielings before Matt got a Covid "close contact" while playing disc golf and we decided to socially distance at home for a week just to be sure. Luckily we were off work anyway, and Matt was busy teaching a winter class online, so mostly it just meant he missed out on park time, and CC got LOTS of video chatting in (funny filters are her current fave). It was kind of a bummer but at least we didn't have to have our work schedules messed up, and luckily no one ended up sick.
We celebrated the holidays a few weeks late but enjoyed a brunch visit with Betsy and Mexican food with my parents in Carrollton to round everything out. Favorite gifts this year were a plush mickey mouse, stickers, Mrs. Potatohead, my mom's vintage toy crib, and a mini-trampoline.
The only Santas we saw this year - maybe in 2021?
