Goodbye to 1925
We were so lucky to have been able to sell our awesome historic home in one long weekend back in early November. Due to construction delays on the new place we kept putting off listing for fear of needing interim housing. Not only did waiting help us avoid that, the housing market is so hot we had multiple offers and were able to sell for above asking with a 2 month free lease back and no repairs. Not bad for a house we were having nightmares about needing to re-wire...
Living downtown from 2013-2021 was so great for us and we are happy someone else gets to enjoy it now. It is a special place and I hope to be back someday, next time with no toddlers and a larger home maintenance budget though!
