~12 Months of Little Miss~

Little miss is one - hooray! She has the best happy personality and is funny and sweet and only cranky when she's hungry or tired. She is on the go and loves to walk and explore and see new things. We had a rough August with going back to school plus her first ear infection, thrush and yeast diaper rash (twice!) and a week of hand, foot, and mouth disease but luckily the only issue now is the ever-present teething all babies have to handle. Happy birthday to our sweet, busy girl!

At twelve months old:

Likes: Walking / moving+playing as much as possible / feeding herself / walks / baths / watching other kids / going to school / head bobbing to music, especially the ABC song / banging toys together / drinking from cups
Dislikes: Sitting still / long meals / teething
Wearing: 6-12 month and some 12-18 month clothes (mostly t-shirts and leggings) / size 3 diapers since 8 months / sleeping in a wearable blanket
Eating: Lots of baby food + was nursing only first thing in the morning and at bedtime until 11 months, she likes drinking from cups and anything she can feed herself, new favorites include yogurt, cheese, Cheerios, and pieces of meatballs
Sleeping: Usually around 11-12 hours at night waking up 1 or 0 times to eat + 2 naps a day. Her bedtime has moved back to 6:30-7:30pm, which is a lot more manageable than 5:00pm. Luckily she's easy to put down for naps and night time and does a good job of staying asleep unless she's sick or hungry. She's still an early riser, waking around 5:45-6:30am most days, we're assuming that's just how it's going to be until the teen years, ha!
Nicknames: C, Boo & Boo Bear seem to have stuck

4-Month Checkup: 13.6 lbs, 25.8 inches // 6-Month Checkup: 14.7 lbs, 26 inches
9-Month Checkup: 17.9 lbs, 28 inches // 12-Month Checkup: 20.2 lbs, 29 inches
