~6 Months of Little Miss~
Baby girl is 6 months old - it definitely feels like a milestone month now that we're halfway through her first year and the stay-at-home portion of her life has wrapped up. Baby care got a little harder with both of us back at work and the 4 month sleep regression, but we made it through. She was home with Matt until March 18th after starting a transition to montessori daycare March 1st going for an hour, and then a little longer each day, and now she loves her little friends. At this point, we are just savoring every moment with our sweet little baby as she explores the world.
At six months old:
- Likes: Baths / tummy time / trying to crawl / chewing on everything within reach (teeth coming soon?) / grabbing her toes / watching us eat/do the dishes/do anything / seeing her friends at school / swinging / looking out windows / playing with her Pinky doll / grabbing daddy's beard / trying out new tricks in her crib at night
- Dislikes: Taking naps at school / snotty colds
- Wearing: Mostly 3-6 month clothes / diaper size: 2 / sleeping in a wearable blanket
- Eating: Started some baby foods at 4 months old, she has rice cereal or oatmeal a few times a week and is working her way through the stage 1 baby foods, favorites so far are peas & peaches
- Sleeping: Usually 12-13 hours a night waking up 2 times to eat + 2 naps a day, she was successfully sleep trained the Weissbluth way at 4 months old and now going down for bedtime/nap time is usually a breeze, yay!, getting her to nap at daycare is NOT successful though so she has to have an early bedtime on weekdays to makeup her deficient (good for her but sad for us since we want to play more)
- Nicknames: CC, Baby G, Boo (I've always called Matt "Sweet Baboo" from Charlie Brown, so now we have a little boo too), Boo Bear

Birth: 7.2 lbs, 20.6 inches // 2-Month Checkup: 11.2 lbs, 23.5 inches
4-Month Checkup: 13.6 lbs, 25.8 inches // 6-Month Checkup: 14.6 lbs, 26 inches
