Nashville Friends Weekend
I had the best time visiting Megan's new place in Nashville with the crew. In typical Megan-style, everything was well-planned and easy with plenty of time on the town, downtime, and food.
Friday I skipped work (and our school Stampede assembly for the first time) to fly out mid-morning. We all met up for lunch at Butcher and Bee, surprise chair massages at the house with margaritas, chatting on the porch, dinner at Culaccino in Franklin, and some time by the fire pit in Megan's backyard.
Saturday we slept in, then started the day with Megan's breakfast casserole and a neighborhood walk on the trail near her house. Then we hopped over to Arrington Vineyards for wine and a picnic lunch then had some downtime at the house before our big night out. We did the whole Nashville downtown thing and visited the Bouquet Bar rooftop pop-up, had dinner at Hampton Social, and stopped into a few bars on Broadway before the Trampled by Turtles concert at the Ryman Auditorium. It was great to see a new place and catch up as a group - can't wait to do it again!
