~Two and a Half~

2.5 came quick! CC loves lots of the same things as she did at 2 (parks, school, learning) and has gotten so much better at talking too. We love hearing what she has to share as she makes up songs, shows big emotions, and learns about the world.

At 2.5 years old:
  • New words: too many to count, she has full conversations now, asks and answers questions, and can be understood by us almost all the time
  • Likes: TV is the big new thing, she started watching TV over winter break with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and watches songs on YouTube (Pinkfong, Moana) most days for a bit when she first gets home from school
  • Dislikes: anything not her idea (aka being 2)
  • Wearing: mostly 4t clothes / size 7 or 8 shoes / size 5 diapers 
  • Eating: More of the same - mac and cheese, Goldfish, veggie straws, fruit, cheesy puffs, etc. she's gotten into pizza, juice boxes, and frozen waffles now too
  • Sleeping: Goes to bed closer to 7:30 and wakes up around 6, naps at daycare but sometimes skips or has a hard time napping at home, boo!
  • Nicknames: BooBoo, CC
  • Stats:
    Birth: 7.2 lbs, 20.6 inches // 12-Month Checkup: 20.2 lbs, 29 inches
    24-Month Checkup: 26.8 lbs, 34.8 inches // 30-Month Checkup: 29.8 lbs, 37 inches
