2020 by the Month // July & August (& Coronavirus)
July Adventures-
- Stopped traffic in front of our house for the city's 4th of July reverse parade, turned out we were a float, ha!
- Little Miss turned 21 months old, AKA halfway between 1.5 and 2 already!
- Matt finally had some time off work, and used it to redo a lot of his classes and move things to his new Mac laptop
- Lots of early morning walks/park visits, full days at daycare a few times a week with fun Friday splash days, and some small social events - a night at Lake Texoma with Megan, my cousin Sarah's outdoor baby shower, beer tasting at home with the Sielings for Kirk's 40th birthday, and grandparent visits
- Back to work for me starting year 7 at McClure, and my first time back in the library since mid-March including masks and lots of Zoom and hand sanitizer
August Adventures-
- More park visits, lots of disc golf for Matt, and a few more grandparent visits before we paused for social distancing
- Back to the daily grind for all 3 of us with fulltime work and daycare for the whole family. We're still one of the few families I know that doesn't have at least one person working remotely - I guess it's good to be essential? Matt moved into his new Collin College office and I passed out hundreds of Macbooks to families during back-to-school busyness.
