May / June Reflections [2019]
May Adventures:
- Matt wrapped up year 6 at Grayson College and started his summer break by teaching a Maymester class online
- Fun with friends - ladies dinners at Cru and Square Burger, Blairs' Cinco de Mayo party, swimming at the Sielings, and an impromptu visit from Matt's brother Rob
- CC's first tooth (teething!), visits from the grandmas, and general baby busyness including my first mother's day, I was also sick for almost two weeks with a cold and no voice, sleep deprivation caught up with me just in time for summer break luckily
- I completed year 5 in MISD and started summer late after PD/presenting/teaching at GT camp
- Summer break + online teaching for Matt, around-the-house goodness, and his first father's day/daddy + me coffee at CC's school
- More fun with friends - Heike's swim party, a special visit from Cousin Lydia, swimming at the Sielings again, visits to Carrollton & Aunt Jenny's in Grapevine, Junior League Book Club, and other stuff too - it's been a social summer so far, our fave.
City Parks Challenge - seems to be unofficially on hold for now. We have been taking family walks in the neighborhood every day we've been home (and it hasn't been raining) this year.
