We started summer off right with a wonderful weekend in Denver earlier this month. Cassie and Joe (who recently opened a cool Colorado-brewed beer store) had a beautiful wedding at an awesome old brewery. We had a great time joining in the celebration - plus who really needs an excuse to drive to Colorado?
We spent the weekend exploring downtown Denver for the first time, eating lots, relaxing at the hotel pool with fraternity friends Craig and Jen, and people-watching at the Pridefest that just happened to be in town. We even changed it up from camping and stayed at a fancy hotel, the Warwick, right downtown. It was a quick 1,600 miles but still tons of fun. Denver's art and food scenes are tops - yay for summer!
