Also awesome in April...
- We're officially cable-free and loving the Roku {and have watched every episode of Arrested Development and Downton Abbey}
- Celebrating a full Easter weekend with home-smoked brisket with my parents and a big ham lunch with Matt's mom
- Fun times at the Frisco Arts Fest and Denton Jazzfest {UNT Lab Bands + fried fair foods}
- A busy weekend working the Trinkets to Treasures Rummage Sale for Junior League
- Four days of library excitement at the Texas Library Association Conference {Judy Blume, books talks, my last time as a presenter for the 2x2 List, great freebies, and good eats at The Grove, Guadalajara, Cork Soakers, and Woody's Smokehouse}
- Great bike-riding weather
And summer vacation planning is underway! Matt has all of June off from work this year so we are planning a massive road trip all the way to Glacier National Park. Stops planned so far: South Dakota {Badlands, Black Hills, Rushmore, Wind Cave} Bozeman, northern Yellowstone area, Rocky Mountain National Park, Fort Collins, Denver, and Colorado Springs. 4,000 miles and counting....

Spring Reading Favorites

It hit 90 for the first time this week (guess that means spring has come to an end?) and I'm 52 books in toward my 2012 Reading Challenge. This is the year of "e-reading" for me and now that you can check out library books with the Kindle Cloud Reader App I'm having way too much fun just browsing for books to read next too.

A few spring reads I recommend...
